Safe work, on the record.

HSE-OS keeps the HSE and crew records of every department and sub-department in one web system. The site, the office and the client work from the same live data, in English, Arabic and Chinese.

From $49.99 a month for one workplace

Built for the companies that run hazardous work

Your departments and their sub-departments: HSE-OS calls each sub-department a workplace, and keeps each one's records apart.

  • Drilling & workover contractors

Drilling and Workover departments with each rig as a sub-department, crews on rotation, a daily HSE report every evening and a client auditor for each one.

  • Operators

Follow each contractor's safety record with free, read-only client auditor accounts.

  • Service companies

Cementing, wireline, mud logging, well testing and other units, each with its own crew, inspections and drills.

  • Construction & plants

Any workplace with a crew, certificates and inspections: building sites, process plants, workshops and yards.

The site, the office and the client, on the same page

What the HSE Officer uploads at the workplace is on the HSE Manager's dashboard at once, and on the client's screen too, for the workplaces the client may see.

Everything the HSE and HR teams keep, kept in one place

HSE-OS replaces the spreadsheets, shared folders and WhatsApp groups that hold a workplace's safety record today.

  • HSE every day

The daily HSE report is uploaded as it is (the Excel workbook) and read by the system: man-hours, STOP cards, toolbox talks, permits, drills. Late and missing reports show up for management.

    • STOP cards, and safety reports from anyone on site by QR code, with no sign-in
    • Inspections and checklists with each client's frequencies
    • Drills, emergency response teams and best observations
  • KPIs and the monthly report

Leading and lagging indicators for any week, month, quarter or year, compared with the period before. LTIR and TRIR per 200,000 man-hours.

    • A PowerPoint report with editable charts, made in one click
    • Weekly summary and monthly report, in Excel and PDF
    • Each workplace on its own, or all of them together
  • Crew and equipment certificates

Every certificate with its file, coloured by status: valid, expiring within 45 days, expired, or missing for the person's position.

    • A ZIP of scanned certificates is read and filed by itself, OCR included
    • The training matrix in and out of Excel
    • Equipment certificates by serial number
  • Training

Who needs which course and when, training sessions with attendance, and what training costs by course, workplace and month.

    • In-house courses renew certificates when the session closes
    • Notices to the workplace before its crew are booked
  • Crew and HR

Crew files, daily timesheets with pay, rotations and crew changes, and the expats' trips, visas and permits with their costs.

    • Vehicle timesheets
    • Appreciation letters from your own template
    • Personal details hidden from HSE management and clients
  • Notices that reach people

Every person has a notification centre in HSE-OS, and can have the same notices on Telegram and by e-mail, in his own language.

    • Reminders before certificates, permits and actions are due
    • A red alert for a serious incident, at once

From the first report to the lesson learned

Incident management follows the steps a good HSE department already takes, and keeps every step on the record.

  1. Raise

The HSE Officer records the type, time, place and what happened. HSE-OS numbers it and shows the reporting deadlines of that type.

  2. Alert

A fatality, LTI, HiPo, loss of containment, medical treatment case, spill or property damage goes at once to the HSE Manager, Team Leader and Mentor.

  3. Investigate

A 5 Whys investigation with human factors, the defences that were breached and the underlying causes.

  4. Act

SMART actions with a responsible party and a target date. HSE-OS reminds when a date passes; each action is closed with evidence.

  5. Review and approve

The HSE Mentor or Team Leader reviews, the HSE Manager approves. The final report is made as a PDF.

  6. Share

The lesson learned reaches every workplace as a safety alert. The tracker and the rates per 200,000 man-hours update by themselves.

Ten roles. Each person sees his own work.

Every page and every record is checked against the person's role and workplaces on the server. Accounts are unlimited in every package.

Protected like the records it holds

Crew files, medical details and incident reports deserve care. This is what HSE-OS does today.

  • Role permissions on the server

Every request is checked on the server. A workplace account never reaches another workplace's data, even by changing the address.

  • Two-step sign-in

With Google or Microsoft Authenticator. An account locks for 15 minutes after 5 wrong attempts.

  • Sealed file links

A link to a file works only for the person it was made for, and stops working after 30 minutes.

  • Daily backups, locked

Each account's backups are encrypted with its own password and the company's recovery key. The server is backed up every night.

  • Personal data kept to HR

Birth dates, phone numbers and salary levels are hidden from HSE management and clients. ID copies open for HR only, and each opening is logged.

  • A record of every change

Who changed what, with position, workplace and time.

  • Your own server, if you prefer

HSE-OS can run on a server inside your company, under your own web address.

When the workplace has no internet

The HSE Workspace is a single file the HSE Officer opens in Chrome or Edge on his own computer. It keeps the daily reports, inspections, drills, incidents, crew and certificates of his workplace in ordinary folders on that computer: no server, no internet.

  • The same pages and look as HSE-OS
  • Files stay in folders anyone can copy to a USB stick
  • English and Arabic
